Earlier, all crimes were based on some stories, ego, revenge and power. Now, crimes are based on knowledge, intelligence, skills, expertise and easy source of gaining benefits in short time. By cyber crime, you don't have to work all the day with honesty, you need to learn to cheat and exploit people with their belongings, as this is easiest way of earning money.

With the advancement in our living style and technology, advancement in crimes can be observed as well, that's why, cyber crime word is getting popular with each passing day. Cyber Crime is totally different from the traditional crimes such as murder, quarrel and stealing. The beauty of the cyber crime is that, it can be performed single handedly and safest part is that, criminal don't need to show his physical appearance or he don't need to be on the crime spot. He can do this crime from any part of the world and no law will be applying on him. He can do this act freely without fear of being caught and he can easily deceived the authorities in their countries as well.

There may be many disadvantages but the cyber crime effect on e-commerce and online transactions is very vital because if your money is not save then you're going to be in serious trouble. Even your private data and personal information is on the risk of being stole, as this stealing can make them rich and they can demand anything in return and can blackmail you in their ways.

DNSChanger: Is Your Computer Save ?

DNS stands for Domain Name System. Websites have two kinds of addresses. One is URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and other is IP(Internet Protocol) address. People uses URLs to find websites, but computer use IP addresses to find websites. DNS translate the URL into IP address and IP address into URL. When you enter a domain name in your web browser, then the IP address of website is determined by the DNS server on the request of your Computer. Computer is using this IP address to connect to website. DNS servers are handled by Internet Service Providor and are present in your PC network configuration. DNS and DNS Servers are very important, without them, you cannot connect to the outer world and share information with them.

Now a days, criminals are using different tactics as if they can control DNS server, they can see those sites, to whom user is connecting. By controlling user DNS, criminal can enter fake user in user DNS and can interfere with user online web browsing. DNS Changer is a malware software, by which criminal used to infect user computer. Criminal replace the user DNS server with their own DNS server and then control all the traffic on user computer and this DNS server is known as rogue DNS server.

FBI have detected this DNS server as posted on their website and taking proper measures to block this server and let the user feel safe in internet world. In many cases, user are feeling connectivity issues as they get disconnect by rogue DNS server. This is just temporary and you will be back to normal speed asap.

You need to regularly check your DNS and DNS Servers configuration and if you see any kind of malware activity, then just report it, and avoid future worries. This is question of your computer privacy, and a big question to your data security. So, never hesitate to take any step regarding this criminal activity.

Companies and Cyber Crimes

This post is continuity of my last post, in which i talked about the online job's cyber crimes scenarios. Today. I'm going to talk about, how inventory software companies are selling their software concerning the providing jobs. This may be possible that they are not directly involved, but their name is used, which have raised questions on their credibility, and I'm sure they are directly handling this work with these companies.

Codimetal and Lecosoft Working :


As my friend had an issue paying $60 for the software. He messaged to Codi Metal and described his position. They replied him with the code and asked him to send this code to Leco Inventory Software. It was difficult to judge, whether they were true or not. He did the same thing as told by Codi Metal. After this, He got a reply from the Leco Soft like, he had to pay $10 for the secure download link, and I'm still surprised to understand that why Leco soft changed their policy as it is clearly written on their website policy that software cost is $60 and there is no reference of download delivery charge. In context of this, he paid the $10 and got the download link but there are few questions, which are very vital.

• Why Leco Soft charged $10 instead of $60? 
• Why Codi Metal gives their reference? 
• What's secure download link money? 

In my opinion, Leco Soft is involved in this act as well, and I'm going to share those mails, which my friend got from them to prove his point of view.

Online jobs and Cyber Crime

Everyone is aware of Information Technology these days, and they are desperate to know every inch of it through different sources. With the advancement in technology, sources of accessing technology are also increasing. If someone can work online from home in spare time or in regular routine, this is just usual, as distinct companies provide these facilities to their trusted and permanent employees to work from their homes under unusual circumstances.
Numbers of graduates are increasing day by day. Job opportunities are less, and unemployment is increasing as well. Online jobs are big relief to that peoples, who has no jobs, or they are getting some good extra income from their spare time. This is just a noble deed because if you're doing well for the welfare of humanity, nothing can be done better than this.
Keeping in mind the people eager to be on and earn something, mostly companies are fooling people and playing on their emotions. They will offer you big with some exciting offers. You will fall for them, but they will leave you in pain as they will ditch by getting some money from you. How they are working. I'm going to narrate the true story of my friend.

Real Story of My Friend:

He is jobless these days and searching for a job. He read about two companies offering online part-time jobs with exciting packages. As he had nothing to do, and pressure was building on him to earn something and prove himself. He finally applied in those companies and got a response within two days. They offered him 850 Euros per week, and he accepted that for online data entry work. However, they asked him to pay for the software on which he will be working as he had to buy himself. Inventory software cost was $60. He had no choice other than refusing them. He mailed to them and told them his position. They replied back and asked to him to pay $10 for the download link, according to them, it was shipment price. He paid them along with job contact. Nevertheless, he never got any reply from them, and then he realized that, it was a big fraud, and he had been fooled by them.
This is just a single story. Latest research shows that mostly people are falling for online cyber-crimes and spams. However, the need of an hour is, they should read and search before taking risk and applying because this act is very common these days. So, avoid yourself from this disappointment and safe yourself for better things.
